Ordering BBQ Pig

To order a BBQ pig, begin by determining how many guests you plan to serve. Allow extra for party crashers (neighbors smelling BBQ), take home plates and freezing. Pork BBQ will freeze, however best used within 2-3 weeks.

Select your date(s) and drop us a line to see if we will have the size you need on your date. At this point, we can push and shove dates and availability to try to meet your needs. The earlier we know your date, the better we can plan your pig availability. If this is a last-minute need, we need a minimum of two weeks to get the pig processed and delivered. Keep in mind, we don’t always have pigs in all size ranges, so plan ahead.

Next, secure your pit and fuel. Build, borrow or buy is fine, just be sure your pig will fit your pit. Of course, if asked, we will always recommend cooking over wood (hickory), however, BBQ can be good cooked on gas or charcoal as well.
